Board Gains One but Company loses Executive Vice President

According to a Chico’s news release on Feb. 22, David F. Dyer was appointed to Chico’s Board of Directors. His seat will be effective March 5. Dyer is the former president and chief executive officer of Tommy Hilfiger Corporation. He has more than 35 years of retail industry experience. With Dyer, Chico’s know has nine board members.

According to a Chico’s news release on Feb. 8, Charles Kleman, executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer for Chico’s announced that he would be stepping down from his position. Kleman will stay with his position until a successor is found. Kleman will continue working within Chico’s, but in the area of Investor Relations and financial modeling. He hopes to also chair Chico’s Charities Inc. Chico’s will conduct a national search to replace Kleman.
